The Fasty Straps^TM safety label complies with the US Government regulations relative to the Country of manufacture and the Load ratings.

We indicate BOTH the Breaking Load AND the Working Load Limit of the webbing, that is the first part that breaks in extreme load tests. The Fasty clamps are stronger than the highest quality webbing material used by Fasty, i.e. polypropylene, the strongest man-made plastic material that was invented by a chemist that won the Nobel Prize for his invention.

Please note that, contrary to US Government regulations, most of our competitors indicate ONLY the breaking strength on their packaging, thus deceiving the public. In addition, our own tests conducted on competitors' products purchased from US retailers showed that even their breaking strength claims are very dubious at best.

The Fasty Straps^TM have been tested and certified by TÜV, the most important and prestigious testing laboratory headquarterd in Germany and with testing laboratories throughout the industrialized countries, including the USA, and several developing countries. TÜV is one of the Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratories as it can be seen in the US Government Occupational Safety and Health Agency (OSHA) website.

The unique Fasty clamp is designed in such a way that it DOES NOT SLIP during road transport. This is a very important safety aspect. Some of the other clamps being sold by our competitors have a tendency to slip during transport. Most are made in China. They have been known to require re-tightening during transport.

As the load is moved along the road, it is subjected to lots of vibration and wind that create variable forces on the tie downs similar to a continuous series of strong pulls and slacks of the tie downs. Clamps of inferior design and imprecise manufacture tend to slip, especially when mated with polyester webbing that has a somewhat slippery surface. Any slippage of the clamp creates a serious safety hazard.

The unique Fasty clamp has been designed and is precision manufactured in Sweden to be immune from slippage during transport. Furthermore, the tough and durable polypropylene webbing used in the Fasty straps helps in assuring that the clamp does not slip during road transport.

To our knowledge, the Fasty Straps^TM are the ONLY tie down straps that have been CERTIFIED by an independent OSHA-approved testing laboratory.
